Where my herpers at?

National Herp Conservation Expert Database Coming Your Way

Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC) has made great strides over their twenty-year tenure to create a vast network of landowners, habitat managers, scientists and other experts, but to this point, that community has remained mostly unconsolidated.

…Introducing the National Herp Conservation Expert Database!

ARC is helping to build this database that will be available via web portal so all herp conservationists in the PARC network will be able to contact each other when they need advice or are looking to collaborate on a project.

    • Landowners will be able to use the database to connect with other landowners.

    • Habitat managers can connect with scientists to guide their projects.

    • Researchers can seek out expertise from others doing related conservation projects.

    • Etc. etc. etc.

ARC will always help facilitate and catalyze the dialogs, agreements, and actions so we can streamline communications.

Most importantly, this will accelerate our ability to respond to emerging conservation needs!

Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
