This activity guide and lesson plan was developed by the Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy in partnership with Georgia Pacific as a free resource to nurture young learners' passions for conservation and encourage environmental stewardship. An exciting learning experience, this content is all centered around the salamanders of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. More salamanders are found in the Southern Appalachian Mountains than anywhere else in the world!
